MOZIAH, 22, is a recording artist from Central Jersey.
Raised by two Haitian Immigrant doctors, Marcus Moziah Guerrier’s entertainment background stemmed from all over. In his childhood, he dipped his feet in community theatre, church choirs, musicals in high school, and DIY punk. Music was always present wherever he went; and he'd grown to love that.
His first week at NYU, he got a bootleg copy of Logic from his roommate and began making beats on his own while he studied Drama. At age 18, he started to release music under his middle name, MOZIAH.
On November 18th, 2018, MOZIAH, with co-producer Theodore, dropped the debut album, Dax Nextdoor, a coming-of-age story about fear, love, and learning to f*ck with yourself. Written, produced, and recorded out of MOZIAH and Theodore's bedrooms in Brooklyn, the album was met with positive acclaim upon release, with Lyrical Lemonade praising the project as: "A compilation of soulful grooves that hit the mark each time."
Strapped with an eclectic mix of influences and training in entertainment, MOZIAH strives to use music to tell true stories that KNOCK.
