Moziah Guerrier, known mononymously as MOZIAH, is a cultural blender, grabbing fistfuls of genre conventions and running them through a kaleidoscope.

Raised in New York and New Jersey, he brings a playful, adventurous spirit to every medium he touches. He explores music, film, acting, and writing with the same curiosity, inviting audiences to come along for the journey.

After graduating with a BFA in Drama from NYU-Tisch School of The Arts, MOZIAH embarked on a career in music alongside an acting career. He has released two albums and three EPs, partnered with brands like Headspace and HyperX, and performed at festivals including SXSW and Austin City Limits. With bold, genre-defying songs like ‘Madisonsquarepark,’ MOZIAH has gained over five million streams on all major streaming platforms.”

As a filmmaker, he’s cut his teeth by directing and self-producing his own music videos - including the absurdist ‘Can’t Stay In One Place,’ the Dance-centric ‘Skerred,’ and ‘Jerrymorganpark’ a video shot entirely within the video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These music videos became a filmmaking lab for MOZIAH and his team - a way to tinker with form, genre, special effects and storytelling for the projects they would want to make in the future.

In 2025, he independently released his second album ‘jesse’s older brother,’ a tender exploration of grief, memory, and healing. A full visual album accompanies the music, running 32 minutes and built using motion capture, 3D scans, and imaginative world‑building inspired by Man Ray and ConcernedApe.

MOZIAH is currently pursuing his MFA in Film at Columbia University School of The Arts, concentrating in Creative Producing.
